The Lexington First UMC is engaged in making disciples of Jesus Christ by offering opportunities for mission support and involvement.

Key Notables

• Locally, we are involved in support for the Lexington Food Pantry and other benevolent ministries through our Lexington Council of Churches
• We have a covenant relationship with United Methodist Missionaries, Mark & Rebecca Smallwood, who serve at the Red Bird Mission in Kentucky
• We also support Kent & Nancy Contrucci who serve with Mission Aviation Fellowship
• We are offering new support for the Midwest Mission Distribution Center near Chatham, IL
• We are offering new support for the Babyfold at the Old Mutare Hospital, Zimbabwe
• Each Christmas season, we enthusiastically participate in the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child
